Who are  Wallspice?
Wallspice is a trading name of Designworld Limited, which is a graphic design agency based in Cardiff, Wales, UK. See the ‘About Us’ page for more information.
 
What is a ‘Giclee’ Print?
Today, the term Giclee Print is used to mean a high quality digital fine art print. Giclee is French for “squirt” and the term describes the printing process of a drop of ink being vaporised by an electrical charge and squirted onto the paper or canvas.
 
How long will my print or canvas last?
The inks, paper and canvas we use are made by top manufacturers so they should last a lifetime if treated well!. The paper and canvas used are of the required archival standard as tested by an independent UKAS laboratory. The inks are pigment - not dye - based and accelerated UV testing by the ink manufacturers indicates that our pigmented inks should have a life span of up to 200 years if displayed under normal lighting conditions.
 
How long will it take to produce my personalized product?
Each Wallspice print and canvas is made to order and will normally be dispatched within 14 working days of cleared payment. Once your order and payment have been received, we will create your personalised design and email a proof to you for you to approve within 3 working days. Once we receive your approved proof back by email we will print your item and you should receive it within 10 working days. If you are purchasing an item for a specific event which is going to be within 21 days of placing your order, send us a note of the date with your order and we will do all that we can to make sure it arrives in time. Please contact us if you need to receive your item in a hurry and we’ll see what we can do.
 
Will I see a proof of my design before it is printed and can I request changes?
We will send you a proof of your print or canvas within 3 working days of receiving your order and cleared payment.

We understand that after you have placed your order you might realise that you have miss-spelled a word or two. We are happy to amend spelling on your design free of charge, but we cannot add or change words at his point as the item will have been personally designed for you.
Please note that once you have signed-off on your design proof via email we will not be able to make any further changes.

Colour Matching
Whilst we try our very best to provide consistent colour matching across our website and printed items, we cannot be held responsible for exact colour matching requirements. Colours may appear differently on your computer screen than ours (due to contrast and hue settings on your monitor) and we will not accept returns for colour related issues. If exact colour matching is important then we suggest contacting us to discuss test samples.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Our method of payment is via PayPal. Use our shopping basket & pay securely via PayPal’s secure server using your credit or debit card (inc. Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Solo, Switch/Maestro, Amex). You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this payment method, you can simply enter your payment details when prompted.

An email will be sent shortly after your order has been placed to confirm your order and delivery details. If you would rather not use PayPal to process your payment, we also accept personal cheques and BACS transfers. Please note that we will not begin work on your artwork until payment has cleared and this may take up to 5 working days.

Price and Payment
The price of any Products will be as quoted on our website, except in cases of obvious error.
These prices include VAT and delivery costs to UK locations. International delivery costs will be added during the checkout process and will be as follows:

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order confirmation.

How are items delivered?
Delivery is FREE within the UK on all of our items. Prints are wrapped in tissue paper and packaged in a strong cardboard tube. Canvases are wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in strong corrugated cardboard. Items are usually dispatched within 10 working days of your proof approval, however you should allow up to 14 days delivery time. We cannot be held responsible for any late, lost or unforeseeable event caused by a delivery date not being met.
 
Items are posted by ‘Royal Mail Recorded Signed For’, ‘Royal Mail First Class Signed For Parcels’ or by Parcelforce, depending on order size. All packages will require a signature upon delivery, so whenever you can, please use a delivery address where you know someone is going to be available during the day. We can deliver to an address other than the billing address, so it might be a good idea to give a work address if no one is at home during the day.
 

Returns and Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you ever have a problem with any of our products please let us know and we’ll do whatever we can to make it right, but please be aware that all Wallspice products are made to order and so we cannot offer a money back guarantee or refunds on personalised items unless damaged during transit. Distance selling regulations do not apply to personalised items.
 
As part of the design process for a personalised item you will be required to approve a design proof. Once you have approved this proof by email, refunds cannot be made.
 
Damaged goods will be replaced free of charge as soon as possible. Photographic evidence may be requested or you can return the damaged item to us. You will have to meet the delivery costs of returning the products, although we will refund the postage at our discretion once the item in question is rechecked. If we are at fault then we will gladly reimburse your postage costs. We will only acknowledge returned goods if they are sent using Royal Mail Signed For Recorded or Special Delivery so you have proof of delivery. Please don't send back your item without contacting us first as we will not accept returns without prior agreement and will only accept returns due to damage in transit if we have been contacted by email within 3 days of receipt.
 
On receipt of the returned item we will print a new canvas or print and have that delivered to the same address as the initial order.
